The Active Applications Palette ____________________________ Creating the Active Applications Palette By turning on the "Create Active Application Palette" option in the Preferences window or selecting "Active Applications" from the Palette menu, VersaTile Pro will build a palette displaying all open applications and desk accessories. You can then use this palette like any other palette with one exception: You can not directly add items to the Active Application palette. The palette is updated automatically as applications and desk accessories are opened and closed.   _____________ The Active Application Palette. __________________________ Using the Active Applications Palette. If you have the Drag Manager installed, you can drop documents onto the application tiles to have the applications open them. You can "q-click" on the tile to quit the application or desk accessory without returning to the application or desk accessory itself. You can Get Info, Make Alias, Duplicate, and Find any item on the Active Application Palette using the popup Action Menu, or the letter-click equivalent. The Active Application Palette has its own configuration that is saved independent of that used by regular palettes. Position the palette where you what it to appear, set the tile texture and format, font, coloring, etc. and then closed the palette. The next time VersaTile Pro is started the Active Application Palette will configure itself to match the last set preferences.
